0_0 I actually loved The IdolM@ster, it was much better than I had anticipated, thought it'd be? completely crappy. While some of the characters were bland, they all had different stories that gave them their personalities (Haruka always being nice, Miki being a huge b****, Chihaya always being depressed). YES! I LOVE HIBIKI!

I HATE it when? there are so many characters in an anime! Especially when they all come in the first episode! (i dont know if they do that in this anime) Because its so many names!!!! Seriously in Hourou Musuko (which I did love) they just threw all these characters and the plot immediately started so I had like 4 seconds to figure out what there names were!!! X(

In my opinion the manga was much better. It had amazing art, better more believable characters and character development, and the plot did not drag.? It was just 20 nicely packed chapters that you cannot put down. I actually watched the anime first than read the manga and believe me I enjoyed the manga even though the plot was almost the same.

Glad people have different tastes in anime and you're able to tell your honest opinion on this anime. But I still really like Anohana. And actually Menma is my favourite character. Like others said she may not have actually be the mental age of the others as she did die as a child and I don't think it was exactly? her choice to appear only to one person and so long after she died. I like ending music of this a lot too! Yeah it's funny in anime you don't really see the parents do anything really.

The critiques that viewers have with Menma aren't unjustified, but her role in the series isn't restricted to annoying delusional phantom. People drift apart like this in real life, be it for big or miniscule reasons, and it doesn't really strike them until years later when they can look back from a vantage point.? Menma is the catalyst that reminds them of that childhood innocence, the last bit of what their friendship once was. Overfocused on? Yes. Unrealistically portrayed? Definitely not.

I like the show, but I have to admit that Menma is one of the problems with the show. There's a limit to how cute she can be without getting annoying, and the fact that she only shows herself? to Jinta makes no sense. The ending was also WAY too weepy and melodramatic. It was sad, but it tried so hard to be sad that it became cheesy. The themes on nostalgic youth and lost innocence make this worth watching, though I'd be foolish to ignore faults. You brought up some good points. ^_^ b

I've seen the first 4 episodes so far and I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I agree with one of the other comments that it's kind of slow, but the girl is just so darn cute I don't mind getting to stare at her :P It? is a nice change from the typical rom-com.

Thank you for? putting it in a civilized manner. I've kind of been a fan of this series too. My only real grievance with it is that it seems to develop way too slowly. Sure it makes the anime solid but it often makes me feel like they didn't actually do anything in the 23 minutes I spent on it.

At the point I was reviewing it I was led to believe it was a 13 episode anime from my sources. Second, not much of this years anime has even remotely interested me. Third, I did this back in like February, early March, meaning that half of the spring season wasn't even known to me yet. Fourth, I am a full time student at a? university, so my time is very very limited. I get your mad at this not being an amazing review, but take time to consider the parameters I work under. I watched Sailor Moon when I? was 4. I always identified myself with Ami (Sailor Mercury) and Makoto (Jupiter) because I've always been a bit of a tomboy like Jupiter as well as the shy kid that was always ahead of the class like Mercury. The fact that? the economy is bad is the perfect reason to do a redub of the series with the old dub as a bonus track. Funimation would make a fair bit off of Sailor Moon right now. One of my friends talks about how stupid the show is and how juvenile it is ect. I then ask him if he would by it and he just replies, "Oh hell yeah. It's Sailor Moon man I love it for all the reasons I said." Economy in the tilot means don't take risks. Sailor Moon is not a risk it is a guaran-damn-tee.

Uranus/Haruka wasn't a man in the anime either...she was just a cross-dresser. One other big difference, Sailor Moon and the others are much more brutal and less forgiving to their? enemies. I love how in the anime, the villains usually end up killing each other or reform in the end, where as in the manga...they just kill them all.

Thats a good question. The voice quality in the dubbs are? great except for Chibi-Usa. Sure they overact in them, but this was dubbed in the 90's so of course its cheesy acting. Try Dubb first just for the Nostalgia lesson.

i was really confused when i saw? the starlights at first. The manga is so much better when it comes to the final arc of the series. Great video! but one thing, and this is just a little fact for all you SM lovers out there. The starlights original design DID have them with SHORT hair. As in, no weird ponytails hanging behind them. But, Naoko Takeuchi's bosses had her change the design later on.

Well today i finished Sailor Stars so I jumped onto this video so I can finally see your thoughts on the season, I actually really loved this one despite all the missing pieces the manga has, I would of loved to see a wedding but at least she had a dream in the anime one of the seasons lol I don't mind the starlights too bad, I? liked Seyia the best and there song is real cute. I know that a looot of people dislike this season, but I enjoyed it. It did feel magical and colorful :] I loved the villains, minus Zirconia because she was just creepy, I loved the relationship between Chibi-usa and Helios,? and I loved their Sailor uniforms and attacks (I know, I know, it's weird, but I can't help it!!). The major drawback of this season was that there were a lot of filler episodes and it revolved around Chibi-usa mostly. I don't hate her, but she's not my favorite.

The Planetarium episode, you miss the other problem with it. The monster of the day's outfit, or lack of outfit. Also helped in it omission from the season's first dubbed run. This episode was put? back after the first run of the season when the english animaters fix the monster's outfit. Other then that, good review of the season.

My favorite season because of Sailor Saturn. But I'm look forward to? her being more involved in the last season. I liked Neptune because she's pretty but you're right they are bitches. Well I don't know if you know but the first paret of the R season was a filler that Toei made in collaboration with Naoko so they could buy time? since Naoko sensei still didn't finish the manga so that's why they made a filler. Naoko Sensei had her reasons so don't judge her

Aren't many filler episodes also to allow the manga to stay ahead of, or in time with, the anime? Because it was ages ago when I first got into anime I remember reading an article that said that there was initially so many fans upset with the senshi dying at the end of the first season that the first part of R was created to appease them while the manga got ahead/caught up Also, wasn't it called the Doom Tree initially in the American release? Either way, can't? wait for the rest of the reviews!

I like Usagi because of the history behind it in Japanese mythology with the story of? the "rabbit on the moon making mochi" It makes good sense if you know the mythology behind it. I like the name Serena for the most part but Usagi is a great fit

No way. Junjou Romantica is definitely better, and in my opinion, filled with more passion...I actually cried more than once while watching it (tears of sadness and joy). As for Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, it was really really really freaking adorable, but it didn't leave the huge impression that Junjou did on my heart. I don't know, but I feel like the Junjou? characters struggled more to find love, and when they finally did, it was incredibly beautiful, heart warming, and fangirl-squeel-worthy lol.

1: Definetly Onodera and Takano because, jut like you said,? they have an amazing back story! And Onodera trying to refuse his love, is so cute because he can't lol X) 2: Actually, I like Chiaki and Hatori. The reason is because, even though Chiaki can get on my nerves with his oblivious attitude, I still love seeing these two together because one is so energetic while th other is so quiet lol. 3: Shinobu and Miyagi! Funny thing is I've started watching Junjou? Romantica, and I love it. The age gaps are no problem for me, not one bit.
