When I worked for the Census Bureau, I recieved $13.25 an hour. We were told that official policy was that we got paid traveling to and from training, so if we got done at 3:30, we? put that time in plus however long it took to get home. We never "padded" the time like in this video. Hell, no one even thought of that. LOL... They wanted to make me a "crew leader assistant" because of my test score, but since it didn't pay more, I said "no". FTR, I NEVER falsified time sheets...

It is not dishonest to accept a days pay for a days work, the training has been budgeted for 8hr days and that is what the trainees receive, anything else? is for you small minded problem finders YOU ARE A SMALL MINDED PROBLEM FINDER, there is not a problem here, ethically or morally. there is other factors to consider aswell? this is not any one persons choice to make this is the tax payers money it has to be true and accountable for audit to be able to see where and what money has been spent out of taxes, you say there is nothing for these people to do whilst in training well there is loads of possible tasks that untained can assist with in any job as long as there is no confidentialty or safty issue and if not then they could use the persaid last hours to revise on...

if that is true why can you not accept that being paid an 8hr day whilst being trained is a fair and ethical way? to remunirate those taking part in the training ? The fact that the study took 7 hrs and there is no possible way for those people to go and find another hr's pay for that day is relevant and has been taken into consideration when asking them to book the day...Would you accept 7hr's instead of the 8hr's being offered ? I am honest but I would not question this obviously fair practice.

I own lots of silver, its not that malleable unless heated. And I wouldn't use it for a roof. Nor would I really use it for water purification when boiling you get the same level of purification-- safe from bacteria and fungi but still not safe against cysts and spores from internal worms (like tape worms). Silver would be more trade-able than? gold though because it carries less value pure ounce, its a smaller denomination.
