The country is basically 40%? Democrat and 40% Republican. It is the 20% that determine who wins and who loses. Dems will always vote Dem, and Repubslicans will always vote Republican. But the 20% of real Independant voters have no political loyalty to any party. In 2008, the majority of these independents, voted for Obama. I've had the opportunity to vote in 2 presidential elections, but honestly the threat of jury duty, just doesn't make it worth it because the popular vote doesn't technically matter anyway. After reading about the? policies of Romney and Paul, Romney just doesn't stand a chance. However, if Paul gets a fair opportunity to win, I would actually vote for him. i would say the Glock 21 is the best for home defense. the 45 is a slow moving bullet so with hollow points you wont have to worry about over penetration like you would with the 10mm. the g21 holds? 13 45's which is awesome. also the 45 has les recoil than the 40 because of its lower velocity.

I agree that Sig Sauer is currently making a better 1911 style gun than Kimber I bought a used Kimber Ultra Ten II last year and it's been so good it's been my goto carry gun since I got it I just jumped into? the $1000+ range with the purchase of C3 plus CrimsonTrace Man I love this gun, but I still love all my double stacks - G21, P14?45 C3 is probably my last gun for a while, I had to sell three to buy this one

News to me! Not mine I'd say the older Kimbers are better. Sig GSRs had a? huge problem with their external extractors. I use to work at GunShop/Indoor firing range. We had many rentals that got a lot of use. Our Sig 1911s were either always down, waiting on a part, or in transit between the range and the manufacturer for repairs. Seeing how certain guns stand up to the daily use and abuse of being a rental gun at a busy range, really gives you a good perspective on what you are willing to own.

They apologized about the problem emailed me a shipping label and two weeks later I had my gun back. You should have never had to pay for shipping? much less been treated like shit on the phone. I share your plight. I've been waiting MONTHS for my Python currently being serviced at Colt. It's annoying to say the least. Colt has split into two entities. Colt? hey all gunsmiths custom shops have a backlog of work and colt has years of it on revolvers alone but they do drop the ball ALOT i had a? colt 20" match h bar ar15 a2 1 in 7 and the carry handle was machined off center you could use calipers to measure the side thickness and when a optic was mounted it was way off 4ft to the left at 100yrds with a lazer mounted on a sight rail and i had to pay for a new A2 upper and send it in for repair of course you cant fix it they said dont use a optic sorry

Actually Springfield and Glock have great customer service. They're both polite and stand behind their products. Springfield has a lifetime warranty, but sadly Glock is only a one year warranty. I had the pin on the trigger that holds the trigger safety in place on my Glock rust. So I called Glock and the guy was really nice, and said he'd send out a replacement right away. Three days later? I received a whole new trigger assembly. I'd say that's standing behind your product.

Basically whatever it is, it is a raw material defect. They probably bought some cheap raw material and thought they could turn them into profit. They are full of crap if they say it does not affect function. Those defects are stress risers that can cause failure of the slide after many rounds fired. I know? these things, I inspect metal for a living.
