Video duration: 162 seconds Turkey vultures sunning and drying thier wings after a thunderstorm. I noticed many of them on top of electric poles while I was driving down Route 91 by Graham Road. ~ I didn't know we had them when we first moved? here. I first saw them a few months ago. We have a ton of small critters around here. The Turkey Vultures are scavengers and eat road kill and what they can find. We have hawks too, but I shoo them away. I don't want them killin' the squirrels and chipmunks I feed. There are plenty of hunting grounds around us for them, so I don't feel guilty chasing them away. I love seeing all these animals around me!
