I had a mini shopping spree at Knife Center. I'm not affiliated or anything, but they have some of the best all around prices and selection. New stuff features some of my practical "grail" items like the Fenix LD20, Cold Steel Mini Tac Tanto, and the SOG Twitch II TiNi. Reviews to come in the future, so stay tuned.

Exactly! I've started to warm up to Cold Steel, but for the most part their blades are still impractical for me. That being said, I think you're right in that they are some of the highest value out there, though. As for how you'd spend the $200, I think it'd be pretty difficult to go wrong with a Barrage.? nice buys. i used to think cold steel was a joke. "gimmiky". now I think that ounce 4 ounce dollar for dollar they beat the? shit outta every other company. but if i 200 for knifecenter Id pick up the G10 Benchmade Barrage.

Thanks for your comment. Nice picks. I love my BK-2, so? I'm sure the BK-7 is just awesome. I like that CS Tiger, too. I don't even like karambits, but the Steel Tiger looks sweet. Thanks for the comment. That sounds pretty good. I have a Pygmy Falcon-II and have zero regrets about that order. Maxpedition's stuff really is worth it. As for the $70 knife, that leaves you with all kinds? of options for an order add-on. Congrats on the versipack, I'm looking forward to a review.

Great selection of items.? The Fenix LD20 is very nice. The Cold Steel and SOG knives are also very nice. I have the head band for the lights. I really like it.

Thanks for the comment. Trust me, I'm? not looking for a fight, especially a knife fight. I don't carry an offensive knife, but a defensive one. The idea would be that I'm pitted against an unarmed or similarly armed individual. The goal is that they wouldn't know that I had the knife until they were bleeding and I was running. The reasoning behind the TDI is because of it ease of use; it's basically a less intimidating push dagger. Quickly extract, slash, stick, and move.

Nice edc kit. It does worry me though when I see someone carrying a knife for " self defence". You said you know how to use it and I'll take your word for it, but many who carry do t know how to handle it. I've been trained with knives to? some degree in the prison service but am no expert. However I have seen the damage that can happen to someone who is inexperienced with a knife, not pretty.

haha, yeah, I really do see the occasional pay phone. I would do my best to avoid using one if it really came down to it, though. The quarters are much more useful for getting something from a vending machine in all honesty. My hunger and thirst have both been squelched on various occasions thanks to having quarters around. As for the Ka-bar,? I still have yet to find a more all-around useful CQC design that can be so easily concealed. Thanks for the comment!
