When we did stress shoots in the Army it wasa decently long run(1.5-2 miles) in full gear and then shoot. We reached exhaustion point before even touching the trigger. Just seems to me doing it in any way? other than the way you would do it in combat/defensive scenario causes training scars. If it was me I'd load every mag with 2 rounds causing me to work on mag changes and transitions as well as accuracy under stress. But its not me, If what you're doing works for you then keep doing it.

I noticed Erica caught a spent casing to the head on her first run. Has she/you had problems with your Glocks doing this occasionally? If so, how often? Have you changed any parts such as extractors, springs, ext? The reason I ask is because I have had my Gen4 G23 kick 3 casings directly at my forehead and I am about to address the problem, but I would like to get some different opinions on where? to start. I have one of the newer Gen 4's with the updated parts and have put about 500rds through.

These are great training exercises regardless. I understand the dudes point about moving a little more while shooting, but I'm sure Cory knows what he's doing. Plus I'm sure some of that steel can't handle rifle rounds at that close distance. You'll end up ruining targets and wasting money. Great video guys, and keep working? hard.

One thing I learned this weekend on clearing? both stove pipes and double feeds: tap the magazine, invert the firearm, and rack the slide by pulling the slide towards you and pushing the firearm away, then coming back to the shooting position. I am jealous of the range you have!

Like the video's but if she'd hold the gun right the mag would drop free shaking? the gun like that may not be a good idea. But she shoots well. Most women shoot better off the start then men. But just constructive criticism those mags aren't dropping free for her just by technique and that split second is difference between life and death. And if you don't already come shoot at some IPSC matches it's a lot of fun!

I have the same holster, I recommend? the Uncle Mike's Reinforced Instructors Belt. It's the same as the Wilderness Original Instructors Belt but half the price and comes with the polymer insert for added rigidity. That's what I have and never had an issue, although I know what you mean before I got the Uncle Mike's I had the same problem. That would work also. Also remember that in many circumstances like this (knife attacker) you will be unaware of it and your Glock is holstered. Can you get the gun up and out and firing before the attacker is on you from 20-30 feet away?Remember I can WALK 30 feet in 5 seconds, trot that far in 2.5-3 seconds. A sprinting person can do it in 1.5 to 2 seconds. By the time a person reacts, the atacker is from 1/3 or 1/2 of the way there already. ?

I have used my 1911 w/ x300 BCH both as EDC as well as duty? for nearly a year now. For the quality, customer service & price, they're tough to beat. Ordered a few more just for adaptability. Easy to convert to IWB with optional j-hooks. Still waiting for Bradley & G-Code for comparison. As far as marring finishes: every current holster will eventually leave its mark. If you want to keep your gun pretty, safe it. If your life may depend on it, carry it.

I think they are just saying, because I don't think they are going to care? if they scratch up their glocks. Its not like they are made to look pretty anyways. If its some $3000 1911 then maybe they will care about the finish. But these guns are made to be thrown in the dirt, water, and sand as well as fall on the road from several stories and simply function. They are just basically big hunks of steel and polymer that shoot lead. Its all they are. If you want pretty, buy a 50cal Gold D-Eagle!

You are correct Cory... you're suppose to "try your best" to retain that magazine in a tactical reload, because it as left over rounds in it. In a Speed? reload you just release the empty magazine and go condition one with a fresh one as fast as possible !!

phwoooaar- what cory is showing us IS 100 PERCENT a tac reload. your comment doesnt make any sense period. if i wanted to "check the chamber" (in the middle of a gunfight? lol) it would be done after the fresh mag is loaded, and right after you put away the previous mag. so what mag is there to fall to the ground exactly?? and cory, good job on the vid as always bro. ive always felt the? best time to reload is at a time of least risk getting shot and/or behind sufficient cover. great vid bro.

I think a good vid you should do for everyone is weapon light techniques. You can teach that without even shooting. Theres alot that goes into the tactical use of a weapon light and I'm interested to see your take on it cuz youre squared? away on everything else so far man.

Yep, dump pouches are cheap and good to use. Depending on the situation you may not have time to get an empty mag back in your chest rig? quickly. But for tac reloads you do want to put it back in you'r rig and you should have time to look down and do it because you should only do tac reloads when you have security/lull in an extended engagment.

Awesome vid guys. Cory my friend and I were watching this and we were talking about how important it is in a fight to remember to save your mags while being safe of course like how you demonstrated. Because if your running and gunning and you lose all your mags and for some reason can't go back to retrieve them then your gun is? basically just a big paperweight. Awesome vid guys learn a lot all the time from your vids.

i noticed that when you, cory, put the rifle at your side to swap to secondary you didn't put the safety on, might want to make it a habit so you don't shoot yourself in the foot trying to pick it back up, in a firefight the reason you would be changing to secondary is because you might have? no ammo or their is a malfunction so that might cancel the safety option but just training you should always use the safety as much as you can so your always wanting to switch the safety on after swapping.

I think shes more worried about the muzzle hitting her knee, not saying that in a bad way either. sure, in a life and death situation i doubt she would take the extra second to completely get it out of the way, but remember it is just training so their is nothing wrong with that at all. The more relaxed you are while running drills the more effective you become. Just something i noticed and thought id comment on. Why do you have that little pause where you align the gun in front of your body, right before pushing forward?? Did you do that on purpose to show the proper movement in this video? hey a Pointer I learned at Front Sight this week is not to do the tap rack bang. Meaning The tap and rack should be muscle memory but not the shooting. taking a? shot should be a your choice. i'm pretty sure? it is chrome lined I know for sure the barrel is and almost sure the chamber is! I think Bushmaster's chamber dimensions are just tighter or it may be that it's a rifle length gun so maybe that makes a difference with the amount of pressure! ??? Who knows but I usually just reload and shoot that through the gun so it's not too bad! It would be nice to have the steel option. Actually though the Hornady Steel match bullets work but they have some type of coating on the case!

Dang that sucks. I have a budget Del-ton upper that I have a? few thousand rounds of Wolf WPA (also steel cased) through without issue. My chamber and bore are chrome lined and I've read that makes a big difference when running steel cased ammo. Is your Bushy chromed? Just curious.

I am new to your channel ya'll are great to watch. I think I watched all of your videos in about 2 days. I had a motorcycle accident march 27th so ive had a lot of time on my hands. I havent been able to get out and shoot due to some injuries but I sure do have a very clean 21sf and 23. I hope ya'll keep? up the good work cant wait to see more. I've showered with my rifle multiple times. If you have the option, compressed air works really well to blow the water out? and off of the weapon before you lube her up. Regular water will wash out any corrosives from Russian ammo and like Corey says dish soap is great for breaking up and dissolving the other crud,

I threw a? Hogue monogrip on my SGL-21 today, I think its perfect. You're right, there's nothing wrong with the stock grip but the Hogue feels a whole lot better. I made a video on my page of my SGL if you want to see it, doesn't have the grip in the vid though.

Have you found or heard of any compensators that fit on the big ak threads that are more effective than the 74 style brake for the 7,62x39? I find with my slg-21 that? keeping it tight within 25 yards is really hard no matter how well i batten down the hatches as far as grip/stance goes. The 74 style brake just aint cuttin at with the 7,62x39

People who are retarded who just want to die are those kind of people really. They need a reality check. Taking guns away from law abiding people isn't going to stop crime. Its going to make it easier for the criminal to take your money and get away with murder. People need to fight for their rights to bare arms and arm up! no more racking slides for me.... i converted to a 44 mag. i found myself spending more time in the woods then in the city. i love 9mm but i dont think thatll put down a bear just in case. i carry a taurus? 44ss4 for ccw and outside the waistband in the woods call me crazy but i feel safer... if you ever do find your bigfoot get ahold of me and ill come take him out for ya cory lol

Holy crap, I didn't even know anything was out there like that. That is complete nonsense. How does stuff like that even on the table? No country that has tried the whole no guns thing has ever posted anything even close to a zero crime rate, why are people so freaking insistent on disarming. We don't live in a utopia. Even if we did, the minute we all throw our guns in a melting? pot is when aliens invade or everyone starts turning to zombies and we need em. Okay that's a bit silly but still....

Very true. My suggestion is: thumb was used for clip release so the slide release is same thing. Shakiness and nerves to? the side. However, releasing the slide on my 1911 can be a bit tough to do, also. Under stress, you might fumble with it. I just thought thumb release is just faster. But your instructors come up with better methods all the time that the army never taught us back in the day. "Gun in our work space" sounds like instinctive pointing instead of sight aming. I now agree with you.
