Not true. Atleast, with the g35/350 that have the rev-up motor. The maxima makes 290/261 which is less then the g35/350 with those motors. But yes, if you aren't talking about those, then your right. But the g35 still has 10 more lbs of torque lol? if that helps.

Not really, the 05's+ have the "Rev-up" motor, which has 298hp while the altima has 245hp. And the engine is? not the same because you cant swap out any mods between them, be that a plenum, headers, exhaust , ECU/TCU or a forced induction(turbo/supercharger) setup. However, you can share the same mods with the G35 coupe/sedan or 350z (FM Platform= Engine mounted behind the front axle=rwd). Altima shares its D platform(fwd) with the Maxima and murano, which dont have as much aftermarket.

I got a 06 coupe MT and an 03 alitima auto trust me ive raced my? other car with my brother driving and it wasnt even a contest... Btw i aint stock i got a couple of breathing mods, 1/2 Plenum Spacer and HFCs thats about it. Where in CA are ya at? Id love to run ya, on the street or on strip, your choice.
