please check out the song "sometime world" by wishbone ash. there are an amazing band who inspired many great bands but are? not well known for some reason, but that bassline is imo the hardest bassline ive ever heard

lol....? i didn't play any of their stuff when starting out all those years ago, and they didnt inspire me to play bass..... this video is only dedicated to the songs i loved to play when starting out and to bass players that inspired me, although i later became inspired by claypool , lee and Squire...... amongst a million other, thanks for watching ;)

@SuperSexySalmon21 yeah all these songs were songs that i originally started learning when new to bass..... i hadn't heard of Les Claypool untill i became more familiar with bass players and styles, i love Les Claypool the mans a genuis.. Cliff Burton.... ive never really been into him as a bass player, heavy metal was never a favorite of mine although i like? the odd heavy metal riff... mainly from the first wave of metal. Thanks for watching though man :-)

yeah ur right,Jamerson was unbelievable, esp since he only used one fekkin finger.lol. although i never played any of his stuff when i was starting out, and these are my favorite basslines from the good old days of learning the trade.Wilson Pickett's 'funky broadway' is my recently favorite R&B/Soul line to play.so many greats,so little patience to make a video. Bernadette was my fav 4tops song and i believe that was the man himself.Tons of unmentioned lines in vid, thnks 4 watching? though :)
