I have come? across so many greats in Karate, Oyata, Fumio Demura, Tim Vandenover, Guy Holtzman, Mike Wall, Pete Rabino, Stan Hillhouse, Maria Evans, right now Richard Pouge is the baddest Shuri Player out there. I have done a little of everything in my time... kickboxing, point-kumite, jui-jutsu, karate and kung-fu's the like. Never said it wasnt practical friend, as I stated "Shuri Ryu has the skills for a real fight" now that probably wasnt the best way to word it. Actually yes and? I like him. Yes I do know about Bill Wallace and Joe Lewis. These guys were exceptional, they were men that made that their life. You've never watched Lyota Machida's Tournament Fights? Shuri-Ryu is all practical. It is ever changing and growing or evolving. I was doing arm bars and kimuras on the mat before the UFC got popular. My instructors and Masters I've trained with had PKA experience, Toughman Competitions Collegiate wrestling and Boxing skills.
