Wisconsin's pension system is 99% funded. It is not the taxpayer's money, it is the worker's who earned the money. Do I? get a portion of your 401K when you retire? Other states are having trouble funding their pensions because their governor got away with stealing the money. Remember this is what Tommy Thompson tried doing and was told to repay it.
