This is one of the few very underestimated movies. A very great Rourke as Stanley White ( who really excist, and was on the set ). The directing from Cimino ( The Deer Hunter,Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, and the flop Heaven`s Gate....wich wasn`t his fault ) is direct and very good. The movie is very hard, with some very bloody scenes. A almost forgotten masterpiece. Besides, This is the first movie ever to feature the now-popular? Desert Eagle handgun, according to the gun's manufacturer.

I had this movie legally but my ex kept it. I thought it was really good, and having lived in NYC for so long and having Chinese clients for my business, I found it interesting. This game, I remember an ooold memory I had of it.? AKA the I'm gonna piss my pants if I see ANYTHING since I JUST started this at about age... 7 or so after playing the first spyro, that god damn pig that comes out of nowhere behind that circle wall in that dark realm I forget which realm, but you're calming walking around and BOOM! Pig. Yes I didn't play the games in order and yes it took about a half an hour for my oldest sister to finally coax me into progressing. Haven't looked back since.

Aaaah... The little shudder ya get hearing that Playstation logo come up. Don't even know the number of times I've... Hmmm, what was it? 110%? 117? Bah, whatever, the % it goes to when you finish the game in it's entirety. Kinda sad that I've played this game enough as a kid that when I decided to play? it again for the hell of it 5 or so years later, still got 100% (112%? 117%? I forget..) and all skill points just as I went along. Also know all the glitches faaar too intimately... Good times...

when I was 4, my game didn't work at the end. It wouldn't play the ending levels. Spyro would just go on his balloon and there would a black screen. I played this game as a kid, and now i work as a games developer, i didn't realized that this game, i don't only love it for the fact that it was my childhood, it's also amazingly made for the PS1, i mean, graphics, gameplay, really stable, it was before it's time, it was not violent, simply an amazing game, i? wish more games had this magic nowadays...

That's part of what made it so great. You can get away with things if you don't have to worry about the small details. And with less work for the animators that means more work is put into actually story telling which is what? makes older games still worth their value into todays modern age.

I agree. There are still? educational video games around tho. the first 3 Playstation Spyro games developed by Insomniac were the best. I played Enter The Dragonfly and A Hero´s Tail and i wasnt very fond of it.

That's why I downloaded them off of PSN because I got sick of it happening with my hard copies. I thought that in the first Spyro the music was a better aspect than the gameplay, Ripto's Rage had better? music fortunately the gameplay was just as good, and in Year of the Dragon it had good music bu I preferred the music from both 1 and 2 but since it had the best gameplay of the series and the music still gave the same feeling that it did from the first two it's my favorite.
