I don't think it's that simple. I've been watching the gold market as Goldman Sachs and the FED team try to manipulate the price of gold downward. They have not been able to control it because of emerging nations such as China, etc. They had enough gold to control things back then, but with the mines running constantly and the world expanding, they may need to increase their hold. I blame the people a little bit but the media is way more? at fault IMO. I love Paul but I didn't have a clue who he was until about 3 months ago because of how the media has done everything they can to marginalize and mock him. It's sicking, which is why I don't really watch Fox anymore.

Actually, Liberal Fascist is not an oxymoron. Classical liberals believed in individual liberty, limited government and free markets, pretty much the exact opposite of what modern "liberals" believe in. In other words, they kept the label but changed the product. This is an old tactic the elites use to keep the people befuddled. They have recently done the same thing with conservatism, hence the new? term "neo-conservatism". Also, fascism and free market capitalism have nothing in common.

You're just using the word fascist because it has a negative connotation and so because you also think of liberal ideals? as negative you think you can just throw them together. @stealth - yeah, much more open; frustration is a hell of a drug LOL My instinct? is (which is completely against my hope) that after the republicans do electoral damage later this year, they'll make the 'smaller gov't' promises but won't follow through (ie McCain suggesting to freeze gov't spending in prez debate and then trumpeting the bailout). I just hope we get it right this time and hope we're not too far gone.
