The real question is: Where? do you draw the line? I oppose torture and capital punishment, but others would disagree with me for perfectly good reasons. Furthermore, it is my opinion that torture is ineffective. If someone tells you the truth under torture, and you don't believe them, you'll keep torturing them until they tell you what you want to hear.
