Well I hate to tell you but you're just wrong. It was intended to be that way, that is why we have an ammendment process. You forget the? Bill of Rights was not in the original document, and that the document allowed slavery for a very long time, and almost all of those founders had slaves. We are always adding freedoms, like woman's right to vote, and civil rights. I believe many people consider public education to be a right as well. That is not in the constitution either.

The founding fathers knew that they could never anticipate the future(industrial revolution, computers, information age, etc) so they made a document that allowed for growth and change while protecting basic rights. Are you guys serious. You do realise that president Obama ended the war and Iraq and has been trying to end the war in Afghanistan despite republicans slowing the process. As a service member myself, I am thankful that a president actually cares about bringing us home to our families.
