I think that it's pretty disingenuous to associate Ron Paul with great civil rights crusaders like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Medgar Evers. At best, Ron Paul sat out the civil rights movement here in the U.S. At worst, his support of state's rights would have permitted policies like Jim Crow to continue. I don't know how you can make judgements on behalf of the rest of the world. But from my experience most people love obama. He's forward thinking. He didn't start two controversial wars. He's all about freedom of? speech and equal rights. The U.S economy is just about the only one in the developed western world that isn't in recession. The economy is growing. That was his main goal, and he's achieved it despite chaos here in europe. I can't speak for his policy in the US, but we love him.
