It is only perceived as "rape" because the old owners were stupid enough to give the players such a ridiculous and lopsided deal. Now the players are spoiled and want more than their huge salaries. Now, I do believe they deserve their salaries, and even revenue from sales of jerseys with their names, but expecting a piece of concessions and ad revenue is ridiculous. If they want it all, then they need to put their own money together, form their own? league and pay for everything.

50-50 is technically not fair because the players would be giving up much more money than they feel is required.? The reality in most sports is that the players recieve a great piece of the pie because they are the game. Further more the NBA's issue is that there's no denying the Stars are very underpaid in this league. Stars like LEbron Kobe and Dwade, etc could all be paid over $40 million and still benefit their teams greatly, so the owners demanding this much money -
