Why didn't Tony Abbott and all Opposition Members walk out of the House of Reps (the Voters Parliament) after saying to the PM, Members of the Minority Government and the Crossbench Members "You have no Mandate for a carbon tax and the Parliament has no authority for a carbon tax?" If he and Opposition Members had walked out the Governor-General would have had to use her reserve powers (it's a Hung Parliament) and? either appoint a PM committed to no carbon tax or dismiss the PM.

So this has become the response by the sad little sheeple. "It's not a budget ... it's a projection!!" That would have to be the most worthless comment I have ever heard. What the government provides is Budget Estimates. Now these estimates are supposed to be accurate so that the citizens can understand the finanial direction of the country. Yes they can be out by a few billion dollars ... but to be out? by $50B? is either financial mismanagement or that financial overestimation occurred.

There are billions of examples of government inefficiency, as they are shielded from market signals (profits, losses). Markets are more efficient? than governments because of this. When a gov't directs (ie redistributes) wealth into say military or medical research they may very well produce great advancements, but its value is eroded by taxation and government waste. Check out Moore's law, our technological advancement is not dependent on the govt at all.

There actually is a Jewtube site. It is a site kind of like youtube (video streaming) but of course Jewish oriented. A friend of mine who is Jewish pointed it out to me. I don't think they would have German Shepherds (btw Ben that is a specific breed of dog not? just all dogs) barking "Mein Fuhrer" on there though. Youtube, yes, probably. And I do like Ben as a host even though he gets silly sometimes. Keep up the good work!

I dunno if that's how it went down. Ben mentions that the story is from Kingston, but I dunno if he means the source, but rather the location of the shop. Misty MAY have meant to say that this is like an ONN story, but it sounds more like she's? saying the source was ONN and the ONN 'failed' them. Though I really can't find the story on the Onion so perhaps you're right?

The internet makes this kind of thing super easy, and considering they have a whole team working on this I'm astonished nobody bothered to check the source.
