At my age women still go out with jerks while I rarely get a date. Jerks tend to be far more charismatic and humorous than nicer guys are. While nicer guys are more confident in their personalities, they are largely ignored. This is still happening, and being the gentler, kinder soul tends to lead a far more lonely life.
