I for one am happy to retain ties with Britain. It is apart of our history, and our British heritage is what separates us from Americans and should never be severed. As for WW2. Canada's pumped out ammunition, food, and vehicles for the British war effort. Our navy? kept the Atlantic shipping lanes open, allowing for both Canadian and US aid to Britian (although the US was not involved in the war untill 1941, they did send aid to England prior to '41).

Where I got my facts was from a test conducted by every country that could be in the study, not? by 1 country. The U.S. does have the best science studies because that's where most science studies are done. IF they are done somewhere else Americans are there. We are leading in nuclear technology and almost all other sciences NOTICE how i said almost. Actually the US is ranked 14th as to who which country has the best education system. Canada being 3rd, and South Korea being 1st, so I? don't know where you got your facts from. Finland also has one of the best science programs. The US does have one of, if not the best military in the world though, so I'll give you that. Even the cab drivers who have just immigrated to Canada have at least bachelors level law and medical degrees. I've heard that if you enter on an international scholarship program, you're set. Some Asian countries like Pakistan actually try to persuade students on it's scholarships to Canada to return home because they usually stay in Canada perm
