Socialism is unnatural and is unworkable. It seeks to make? everyone the same when people are very different. Socialism is supported by the parasites who can't support themselves and the big banks who lend to Socialist governments.

John Maynard Keynes: Between 1937 and 1944 he served as the head of the Eugenics Society and once called eugenics "the most important, significant and, I would add, genuine branch of sociology which exists." And Keynes, we should add, understood that economics was a branch of sociology. So let's be clear: Keynes thought eugenics was more important, more significant, and more? genuine than economics.

Yeah, YOU WISH they read too much Hayek, actually, you would have DIED had they read any at all since you have perversely worked to SQUELCH all talk of Austrian economics anywhere where it seriously matters. Actually, they read too much Marx, and Keynes, and Machiavelli. Since they wanted to dominate, control, and put under their feet the true libertarians and the free market economics that? made a lot of people wealthy without the "benevolent" guidance of a "humane" dictator collective.
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 20:10:50
Always with the "new social order" rhetoric which is the same old shopworn lies that petty dictocrats peddle whenever they smell a hint of power? and control that they can usurp. Adding the words "Humane" and "responsible" is a bold and brazen PR move which is merely the devil dressing up in angelic costumery.
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 20:08:44
The pretense of this video is clearly undone when you consider what impact Keynesian economics have had for the last 80 years in America - it has reversed our edge in the marketplace that we labored (freely) to acquire and maintain since the founding. What is broken? Keynesian economics. ?
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 20:06:29
"WE" don't need a new "system". We simply need to assert our natural law rights to keep the fruits of our own honest labors, and freely? to trade with whomever we wish. And get the collectivists and their apologists our of our business.

Believe me, dear Sir: there is not in the British empire a man who more cordially loves a union with Great Britain than? I do. But, by the God that made me, I will cease to exist before I yield to a connection on such terms as the British Parliament propose; and in this, I think I speak the sentiments of America. ?Thomas Jefferson, November 29, 1775

? what is the intent of your response here? I'm not? sure I quite understand. I never said wealth redistribution was good.. in fact I didn't imply anything except that we need a new system..
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 19:07:15
people are corrupt because BIg Government gives them power to do so. They tax and spend us into oblivion and all the corporations in America can't bail us out. You have it backwards and upside down but then you may be a beneficiary of the government largesse and so therefore biased in favor? of benefitting therefrom, which just underscores the corruption you pretend to fear.
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 19:02:25
Let the individual buyers beware, not the collective usurpers in the government. The government is nothing more but a giant corporation with the force of law. It is anti-competitive with all other corporations and when you remove competition you? remove the incentive to make the corporations better. At least rather than one giant corporation, i.e. the government, you have many corporations whose long term survival depends upon getting sustenance from the free market -which keeps them honest.
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 19:00:17
Your statistics are the failure here. You fail to account for the usurpation of the marketplace which has been happening ever since government learned they could dupe people into thinking they were accomplishing good by wealth redistribution when? in fact they were doing the opposite.
By: SDS4BO. on 24 May 12, 18:58:30
No, it isn't time to listen to those who have been naysaying capitalism ever since? it began. There is no justification for usurping the freedom of the individual to subject him and her to the whimsical forces of government who are also comprised of fallible individuals who run a giant corporation which dips its hands into every individual's pocket and makes them into slaves. tinyurl dot com 3k3zke

Please make a video about Monsanto and companies as such. This is genocide and everybody let's it pass as it is a "normal" situation. We need to have GMO labeled and let the people decide? if they want it, not the governments and in-door debates. GMO is killing nature and eventually they will kill us.

dfgb * A COMBINATION OF CAPITALISM (being able? to start your own business, etc) AND SOCIALISM (universal medical care, affordable upper level education, etc) IS THE BEST OPTION * DUE IN PART TO ECONOMIES OF SCALE THEORY, CAPITALISM WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO THE CONCENTRATION OF WEALTH. THIS WOULD OCCUR EVEN IF YOU REMOVED EVERY SINGLE CORPORATION IN THE UNITED STATES AS WELL AS THE UNITED STATES FEDERAL RESERVE * THE REPUBLICANS, THE TEA PARTY, AND RON PAUL, ARE NOT THE SOLUTION * bgfd
By: therealrealist67. on 24 May 12, 06:56:17
I didn't say that, I said that they are a product of socialism, not capitalism, but I'll assume you meant that. It's too long of a subject to delve into on a 500 char limit, but essentially corporations minimize their losses via public trading. Notice that the stock market is not some deregulated? capitalist junkyard like most liberals will want you to believe, it is called public for a reason. Corporations are, in the words of Stefan Molyneaux, "unions for the rich". Check: watch?v=dbxZhx2eENo
By: therealrealist67. on 24 May 12, 06:50:37
And yes I do think it would be easier for farmers to protect themselves under less regulation because they wont have to be harrassed by the monopoly of the state. There are some states in this country? that ban the sale of unpasteurized milk, even though this form of milk is far healthier for you than the typical Darigold factory farm product. You will find, in a true free market, that small businesses will absolutely thrive, because corporations no longer have their handouts to rely on.
By: therealrealist67. on 24 May 12, 06:47:52
*sigh* Again, the consumers are the ones who watch Monsantos back. If an outbreak occurs and people start? to die in a certain region, and the one constant in those is that they all ate Monsanto GMO foods, then Monsanto will immediately need to either clean up its act and prove it to the public or go out of business. This isn't that complicated. They have the vested interest of making sure their products arn't pure poison by making sure they are safe for the general public to eat.
By: Xziro3. on 24 May 12, 06:40:59
and about the new theory, well I don't know yet, it's 2012 and I think it's time to think outside the box don't you think? Clearly nothing has worked. In a society where we have an abundance of food where more than 100% of the population can be fed, 1 out of every 7 people is still dying from starvation.. This system has clearly failed don't you think?? by the way, can you explain how corporations are a product of capitalism and not socialism? I'm not for or against either, but just curious
By: Xziro3. on 24 May 12, 06:29:11
I agree with what you're saying, but you still haven't answered my question: if you take the government? out of things, who is going to watch Monsanto's back? Lets just pick an easy one: labeling GMOs. Do you think it will be easier for citizen's to make Monsanto right GMO on all the foods that are genetically engineered? Do you think it will be easier for the farmers to protect themselves from Monsanto with LESS regulation? Yes, the government isn't working, but deregulation won't be better.
