You obviously are very well informed and possess some fascinating knowledge. I do, however, wonder about certain claims. For instance, Mark is generally thought to have been penned 60-80CE, Matthew around 90-100CE and Luke and John - because they contain information taken from "Jewish War" and "Antiquity of the Jews" which were completed? in 93CE - are dated to post 93CE. Of course many changes and edits persisted for centuries beyond the time of authorship, and the authors are not as named.

But there's no confirmed guide as to what is and what isn't. -- Re: "It is sevfen phases not seven days" - And claims like that illustrate the problem with the metaphor claim. Read Genesis 1:5. What is a "day"? Read Genesis 1:8. What is a day? In fact, a "day" is defined SIX TIMES in just 27-verses. So that's clearly not intended metaphorically. It's simply wrong.

Sure and? I think the production was done very well. I think the general tenor needs a more solid punch - I honestly thought this was anti-evolution. I mean I think a Catholic could very well think this video supports their position. Thing is it is NOT a "core tenant"of Christianity and just because YOU say it is doesn't change the fact that it is? not. It is only a "tenant" for some Christians. However, you seem to be completely unaware that the Bible was not written in English originally. If anything, this is a pro-Orthodox Christian video. It is saying the KJB and Catholicism is in obvious conflict with evolution, which we know to be true. Its a straw man argument. The video is telling Christians what they believe and then "showing" it is wrong.? Well the belief is generally limited Catholics or people who read the KJB. There are 100's of other Christian Bibles which do not foster this belief. He's doing exactly that, addressing the fact that you aren't really a Christian if you believe in evolution because it does not align at all with the core tennants of Christianity. Also, for a source about the Orthodox Church, just investigate their beliefs, that is their big division from the Catholic Church. The Orthodox Church believes (as all Christians did for the first 200 years) that people sin because they descend from Adam, but not that they are responsible for Adams sin.? The Catholic Church believes all humans are responsible for Adams sin. The point is then it is easy for an Orthodox Christian to believe in evolution as Adam is more of a metaphor for them.

Sorry I remain too busy to address this properly, but investigate St. Irenaeus and? you will find he invented the idea of original sin. The reason it looks like Paul believed that Adam's sin was a curse for all humans is because William Tyndale translated Rom. 5:12 into English and HE believed in original sin - not Paul himself. Most English translations come from Tyndale through the KJB, but more scholarly translations show there is no real basis to say Paul had such a belief.
