i was just searching this figure online and i came across it on amazon. the pricing is $78.99. FOR A DELUXE FIGURE, THAT IS INSANE. Just got this guy in the mail today. He is AWESOME! Two things to note: 1.) his chest panels are on slider rivets, so they can move outwards enough to give him at least a 7mm gap in his chest, although they are? insanely tough to move. 2.) when his knees are bent more than 30 degrees, those window bits can be flipped outward to cover up his shin gap.

Actually, to tell you the truth, not only did? I see the first two bayformer movies before dotm, but when Ironhide died, I wasn't all that affected! I just got this used. I bought it cuz it was a Challenger XD (or 'cuda if you look at it from behind). started painting? it once I got home, adding tail lights and chrome trims (as well as the fake wheel on its thighs). I'll soon paint the robot-mode frame. I was surprised to see somewhat accurate inner-door details, lol.

It's all about making them as quickly and cheaply as possible now.Parents in the U.S. are willing to pay more for a low quality product. In Japan, normaly don't ever have to worry about the joints popping out of their sockets,or the figures not locking into place when they transform. Japan? also loads the figures with extras like weapons,cards. flash drives,because if they sold the figures with all the problems the U.S. ones have,they would simply go buy a cheap knock off figure at a local market

Interesting. Thanks! I know that with the original G1, the Diaclone and Microman toys (Takara products) came? out first, then Hasbro bought the rights to sell those toys as Transformers. Hasbro funded and produced a cartoon to market the toys. They altered the robot modes of the animation models to be more visually palatable, but the toy and transformation schemes were still the same. So back then it was really the toy first, then the animation model.

The show, story line, and everything else are designed around marketing? and selling their products. Based on focus groups a sets of prototypes are made of various different characters and vehicles, then they are sent back to the focus groups to decide who will transform into what. Once that is decided the general designs are sent to the fabrication dept. and they figureout how to make them as cheaply as possible in bulk. After that, the stories and everything else is pretty much an afterthought.

But anyways, Hasbro said it before, but now its aligned with the Prime universe. Besides, before they even confirmed if FOC was a prequel to Prime, Prime was already aligned with the WFC contuinity, so they must have been planning it.

Just leave it at this, WFC was originally a prequel to G1, know that continuity is directed towards TF Prime. By the way, things don't have to always stay the same. What ever they? came out at the same time. But I don't recall hasbro ever saying it was a prequel for G1 but i do remember highmoon studios saying that. Plus why would hasbro make a prequel so full of errors and still have characters clearly based off of their counterparts from other continuities? And I know G1 had errors but that was a show in the 80's with multiple writers and a shoe-string budget. That is a little differant then WFC.

Having the same problem as you. One leg? will sit flush when transformed, the other will have a gap between the window and leg/door. It's frustrating. I'm going to try again, with the feet removed, as I think the feet are causing the issue.

there is no problem with the design of the figure. When transforming him back to vehicle mode, make sure? his head is pushed in towards the front of the car after fliiping the board beneath the head (which is not done in the video). Also adjust his shoulder plates so that they face upwards.

Nice reivew :) I think i'm gonna? go for this guy, since i couldn't get the FE version, and we're not gonna get the Botcon version of this guy (same mold, just show-accurate paint job) on retail, (and i don't wanna touch the RID version), i'll happily make do with this, though the only place he seems to be available here in the UK is kapow, amazon don't list him for some reason. I remember a lot of people on the TFW forums hating this guys colour scheme, but i like it.

My parents told me that ghosts are only echoes of people being repeated. I don't see how that works but it seems to work in terms? of seeing echoes too. It's hard to explain but take for example a person in front of a white background, then suddenly move them way. You can still barely see their shadow of where they were.

I actually ended up getting this figure as well as the first edition and it's really good :) I guess the only reason i got the RID one though, is because i was already getting the first edition i would suggest you got both. they both have their pod qualities. for example the FE's arms transform into guns?

I saw the Takara/tomy youtube channel were one of the japanese toy designer mentioned that the FE editions were too hard or complex for (I'm guessing) young kids to transform. Thus the robots in disguise versions were released, but the Takara versions are getting minicon weapons, probably? why they didnt put a weapon/hand like it's FE counterpart, while Hasbro gave Cliff a hammer.
