Half of the deficit is due to bush tax cuts, the rest is due to fifteen million lost jobs resulting from the bush/republican economic downfall. Because of conservative policies like tax cuts while going to war in Iraq and Afghanistan at the same time. Do I really have to repeat myself? Reform is changing the system of how money goes through it, but cutting is taking actual money out of the unfunded liability which is illegal. The economic crisis was caused by artificially? low interest rates, things like the Fair Housing Act made the fed lower interest rates so housing could be more affordable and people spent way more then they could ever pay this created the housing bubble which led to the failure of the stock markets.

Actually he wants to move the important parts to other departments. Such as the National Parks. This would greatly reduce the number of beuaracrats and people with ridiculous government salaries that really don't do much. The department of Education is funny, what they? don't ever say on the news is that virtually every SDE is behind it 100%.
