All it takes is one person to stand up and walk out. Then another, and another. The trick is to get each individual to completely understand WHY they are walking out, instead of just following the person in front of them. There are too many people in our society practicing what I've? heard described as "slacktivism" because it's trendy and cool and that's what gets you laid. Republicans have worked for years (successfully) to shift the tax burden off wealth and property and onto? labor and industry. But here's the real kicker. Before, the? wealthy paid taxes in a progressive tax system. The rich were still rich, and there was no deficit. Today, we borrow money from the rich in the form of bonds, which must be paid back, with interest. So not only are they no longer paying, but you are now paying THEM. This is why they get richer, and everyone else is poorer.
