you're right....i don't profess to know alot about shakespeare...but the story of romeo and juliet.......was old before he wrote it.....and adapted from a poem by Arthur Brooke........yet expanded upon......they each said alot of things..about right and wrong.......Richard II has been said that Shakespeare relied? upon Christopher Marlowe's Edward II......sometimes there are no more possibilities......its already been written.....just retold forever....in ways that are different...ain't no crime.

Aside from missing the point about Shakespeare - you don't know a lot about BD's earliest stuff, apparently. A? huge percentage of his earliest out put was based on other songs, both melodies and lyrics, and he has been accused frequently of out and out plagiarism - especially of traditional folk songs. His lyrics are all derivative - from imagist poetry, beat poetry, blues lyrics, and so on. There is far less original about Dylan than Shakespeare.

Our generation is being ruined by other things than music lol. Trust? me, I've made the same argument several times before. If you search hard enough for talent, you'll find it. I stopped listening to the radio a few months ago. I either listen to CDs or my iPod because I can't stand the type of music being propagated on the airwaves. And ThatOne is right, it doesn't take a certain age to realize what's good. I know 5 year olds who listen to Rise Against and 20 year olds who listen to Ke$ha.
