It depends on MS and Sony but I can`t imagine that they will depeloppe such graphic beasts again. If so they have to launch at super high costs again. I hope that WiiU can compete with nextBox and PS4 in terms of graphic just like in the GC,XBXOX,PS2 Generation. And who knows maybe Nintendo still has something up their sleeves. For? the time 3rd party support doesn't look bad, and I think it will have a bombastic launch lineup.

thats strange because on gamerankings Super Mario Galaxy is 2nd place all time best and Galaxy 2 is 3rd place all time best. 1st Place is Zelda OOT by the way, nothing compared to this game in 13 years (speaking in terms of critics). The problem this generation was 3rd party lack on Wii I admit. But? that happend because the difference in graphic was to big, while Xbox360 and PS3 had nearly equal power which makes cross platform developping easier, so Wii was left alone most of the time.

yeah I have to agree with you there, but haven't developers been playing it safe with all the fps games they've been putting out. Halo series has done better in terms of sales than CoD? didn't know that, either way yes we know about Halo 10 years later, but what about 100? nevermind 1000. Sure, Halo as a series of games might exist then (though unlikely) but Halo 4 on it's own almost certainly won't be remembered - or if it is remembered I really don't think it'd be remembered as the best game of a 1000? year period - it would do very well to be the best game of the decade nevermind century or millenium.

Scary Creatures? StarFox doesn't really have much of that. Andross and the Aparoids from Assault are? really the exceptions, because almost every enemy aside from them is some talking animal piloting a spaceship. I suppose there are a couple big monster bosses, like Aquas, Solar and Titania's bosses from 64, but it's really the exception, not the rule, unlike Metroid.

A crossover could work, but only if it makes sense. StarFox and Metroid are two completely different genres, with two completely different atmospheres. StarFox is lighthearted, fast paced, on rails, and very fantasy, what with talking animals flying spaceships and whatnot. It's like a kids movie. Metroid is darker, slower paced, and explorative, more realistic sci-fi. Crossing them over doesn't mesh. It results in half the StarFox it could have been and half the Metroid it could have been.?

There's nothing wrong with crossovers in general, I just think this one won't turn out very nicely. Smash Bros.? is completely different, because that's merely a fighting game. This crossover would mesh two of these different stores together, and I think the only real similarity between them is the space setting. There two completely different worlds and stories that I don't like being put together, but this is just my opinion. It might turn out well for all I know.
