Okay maybe somebody? else already figured it out but I think the little boy is symbolical. Little boy= Kurt Cobain. It's the way Courtney saw him: He was like a helpless little boy who needed to be loved, who needed care and nourish. When he walks out and Courtney leans against the door it probably symbolizes Kurt leaving and never coming back (he's dead) and her leaning on the door in desperation stand for her longing for him to come back as if saying "Please don't leave me all alone."

I read a review somewhere? that I really agree with. It said that (1) "Live Through This" is unmistakeably a "woman's record" (that is, it's about female themes). (2) It has far more swagger to it than any album ever written by any male artist of the grunge genre. If you listen to the lyrics, you can really see this. A star came too close to a black hole. It was unable to remain in the safe zone, and so? it was pulled into the black hole until at one point, it hit the Event horizon and was decimated. We can tell that only a bit of the star was pulled into the Event Horizon because we were able to see plasma radiating out of the black hole into space. I'm not so sure though. I believe that nothing can escape once it's in the Event Horizon, but the presence of Hawking Radiation makes me reconsider. Anyone?:/
