We've got 3 dogs, a border collie lab mix, a Great Dane, and a Basset Hound. The Basset rules the roost. He's fearless as well, The Basset? weighs in at 81 pounds, but is very well toned, and try to imagine taking a nap in a queen sized bed with these three dogs. He is very stubborn, and it can take me an hour to walk him 2 blocks. If he wants to stop and smell he does and he digs those feet in and there is no moving him at all.

That is simply not true, at least about this particular song. Royalties are paid to the song's composers, which, in this case, are Leiber & Stoller. Who *are* getting their dues. It is true, on the? other hand, that almost none of the great blues artists got much money for their work, for social, racial and historical reasons. Good call on the floppy ears. My Basset Hound died several years ago. But to this day, I still miss? flopping her ears around while petting her. = \ When I used to play with her, I'd grab one of her ears (gently) and would cover both of her eyes with it and play peekaboo. Just? a warning though, Basset Hounds are pretty hard to train. They'll pee in your house a LOT.

- Its okay for you to assume that's how I train animals, as you don't know me. I can assure you though, I do not subscribe to the "force" method of training. This is old school. From being in this business for as long as I have, you are bound to hear stories of these "old school" methods. I am? sure there are trainers out there that still use force - I do not - but I do know what it looks like, and this video, and the dogs behavior is a classic example of force being used.

@horsescanter An animal (in this case a dog) can be trained to do things that they don't necessarily want to do - I think you are questioning this comment made by @SuperDogluv? If a dog is trained to "go with" a person, another animal etc., they can and will do it, even if they do not enjoy doing it. That's what we are both saying - read the dogs body language and no eye contact, he is doing what he is told - but he is not enjoying it. This is trained and NOT a natural? interaction.
