Ah, lag compensation. The most hideous and foul thing to? ever be released from the cesspool known as Activision. Personally I enjoy this abomination known as lag compensation. When my PS3's hard drive grinds because Activision has engaged in coitus with my rectum, I know they care. Perhaps if we all look at the second to last page in the MW3 players manual and call that number between 7 AM? and 7 PM something may happen. I've only called them nearly a dozen times in 3 months.

@MasterFProductions the way to fix lag compensation on MW3 is do disable video recording, do not forward router? ports, use Wi-Fi, and put the router as far away from your console as possible. This will make it harder for you to be host. As for the riot shield, they nerfed it because it is a non-noobish weapon which caused people using ACR's and such to complain because there gun doesn't kill in 1 shot.

I hate lag compensation. I have a good internet connection, but I still find myself losing gun fights I shouldn't be losing, or being shot when I already was behind the corner. And as someone else commented, I see killcams lie to me so much, or I'll pop my head around a corner and check for enemies, and then move on, and an enemy pops up behind from that very same corner.? It's ridiculous. I don't mind being outplayed, but when my death or kill relies on luck basically, then I get pissed.

You know, I THOUGHT MW3 felt different. Yeah, in the other games I definitely knew when I was the host because of how much I owned (as far as speed went) and also how fast I got into a game. With this game though, I can still be the host (first? in the game as I watch everyone else come in), but that advantage is gone. It feels... weird. I just hope they don't make it any worse. And, as much as I love CoD, I don't think I will be getting Black Ops 2, but we will see.

lag compensation has always been in cod. The reason its worse is because the modern warfare producers at infinity ward are gone. hopefully they are working on the game that finally puts the cod series out of its over produced misery. Its a big cycle people need to realize. Anything made by activision is going to be a mass appeal gimmick that they will then overproduce til we all hate it. ex: guitar hero, tony hawk pro skater, cod. They are the worst company.?

And I am usually running a 4 bar connection 90%+ of the time, ports routed, open NAT etc... Seriously after about January I couldn't play a single without some going 6-32 and 2 bars killing me around corners. Kill-cans straight up lie to my face. Also noticing a lot more revenge spawns and invisible? enemies. Check a corner; no one. Two milliseconds later I'm shot in the back from said corner :/

Beside the dumb shit in mw3 like death streaks and a few OP weapons, me was fine for for the first oh... 2 months; only really died if my aim sucked or someone got the drop on me. Then the lag compensation patches came out. And dear god people with 2 bars are killing me? before I'm even in sight. One time the lag was so bad it put me in a room I had ran through 4 seconds beforehand.

I think that Battlefield on console is an excellent game, I play it regularly and it's probably my favorite shooting game right now. MW3 just doesn't have that good old "Cod feeling". It feels rushed, like if they didn't really take the time to make? a better game. Yeah you can always take away things from it that make it unfair, but the unbalancing of Mw2 is what MADE it balanced. It was fun and everybody liked it. Personally no Cod is ever going to be better than Cod4 though. Play BF3 more Max!

I think the main reason there? has been a noticeable change in the lag compensation is because there are a lot more people playing. In the days of CoD 4 and WaW there wasn't a massive following (i know there was a lot of people that played these games back then). They were the ones that got CoD on the map for everyone else. A lot more people join CoD with MW2 and you start to notice more lag. Then even more people join with Bl Ops and MW3 and the lag gets even worse.
