Your design department needs a major overhaul. The duffle bag that creates an optical illusion? Really? I never once thought by looking at that bag that it wouldnt hold anything to the size of the bag... And the concealed carry bags? What were you thinking there? Theres nothing discrete about wearing a large desert tan bag? on your hip to conceal a firearm. Theres people that make concealable holsters for that.

Also, I like the Messenger bag (i.e. Murse). I currently use the Maxpedition Jumbo Versi-Pak as my Murse, but I'm running out of room, and I'd like to be able to carry an tiny laptop (ultrabook/netbook). I need something in between size of the jumbo versipak and the messenger. Oddly enough, the diaper bag may fit that bill perfectly. The Murse is here to stay, gentlemen - we've been at a disadavantage relative to women for far too long, without all our needed crap - well? no more!

Great video again Gwynn. The Thistle plant when it is in the? alive state is edible. The stalk is edible, as well as the flowers. You just have to shave the thorns and such off the stalk. It tastes like celery, you can cook it or eat it raw. And as you found the dead flowers provide good tinder for the fire.

Do you carry a knife on your person? Not to be nit-picky, but I would STRONGLY recommend carrying your knife on your person if you don't already carry a knife everyday. The glass breaker and seatbelt cutter won't be of much use to you in an emergency setting when you have to reach into a bag that might not even be accessible in an emergency situation. I find it funny that Maxpedition will send you a free catalog every time they send you more free stuff. However they want to charge me $6.00 for? a catalog. No they can still be cut. They are very durable but not cut proof. I would look for one with a steel cable if you are concerned about that. Look up Hazard 4 Retractors.? they have a plastic coated steal cable that would be difficult to cut with a knife.

I found the same thing. I actually had a compass sitting next to? me in the video but the gear retractors seemed ridiculously big so such a small task. I think I am going to check out the hazard 4 ones. they are much smaller and I think they will be good on my hydration hose.

For me its too much with my vest, backpack and sling and then to go walking through the forest, it would just get in the way. the only thing i could possible use it for is for? a compass and i would use the smallest one they had. thanks

depends? on where your from mate, on werious sites they sell cheap guns, try airsoft G.I if your in the states, im from denmark so i use redwolf airsoft (eroupe) but go after cyma- agm guns, ther cheap and good guns, not the worlds best airsoft guns but great starter weapons, eventually buy a spring shotgun, ther great, shoots long range and power is in top, and magazines are cheap, else try ebay for used guns, its pretty cheap, hope you can use it- G.L.A airsoft medic, doc holliday

YES! finally someone who knows what a bug out bag is supposed to be! i seen alot of people on youtube doing reviews on thier bags. they have no winter prep and are? stocking up on ammo rather than being ready for all 4 seasons, make sure your bug out bag is ready to save you from the worst conditions, hypothyermia and exposure will kill you faster than anything else in an shtf situation when ur forced to leave home!

Impressive bag, but go rucksack your not on a leave from the army you may be carrying the thing for endless days. ILBE is one option or another overkill sized ruck sack like a 100 to 120 liters. It may be overkill but its always better to be ready to pack a load ;) use dry bags, they are good for keeping your items dry and also to contain water, even adds as a floatation device!! I have tweaked my weight down to 10kg of gear and thats without water, tent and food. Actually i always keep to bags?

I really can't say enough good things about the FR-1 and I guess that's why and own two and have given them out as gifts. I just bought a kelty coyote 80 pack that would be great for what you need and if you shop around you can get a great price...I paided 129.00 for mine...Hope this helps..Thanks for watching and? the comments!!

Great little kit there buddy, definitely? thinking of getting one of these bags as a back up. Something I have noticed while looking through various video's of survival first aid kits is the lack of Major bleed gear. I have an extensive medical kit (EMT during the day) and something that I carry is a Combat Application Tourniquet. You do not need to be trained to use one but in an emergency they could save your life. Also maybe some form of wound closure. Great video, enjoyed it lots. Thanks :o)

(imagine that 20 dollar items cost 20? euros here PLUS 30%, give or take a few cents... pure horror ;-) ) I put a Leatherman Blast + a mini BIC lighter, some small Esbit tabs and a Petzl e-lite in a TMC .45 Magpouch (a little bit longer and wider) - great little kit :-)

Great review Beast. My experience is a love hate relationship with it. I have had the remora for over a year and I have to say that it is the most uncomfortable bag/strap setup I own. I have tried it rigged up 9 ways to Sunday. Some modifications helped somewhat, but it's still aggravating to wear for more than 5 minutes. What do I love? about it? You do like the Gucci gear Mike, I know that much, you dont scrimp on your? gear and you always get the best you (or your mum) can afford mate, so you probably wont be buying cheap and therefore buying twice (you know the old saying!) with the camera either. You do great videos mate, dont worry about that, its just sometimes I just cant hear you very well at all, and I cant see what you are doing the video on, must be a sign of my age! lol!
