Well,? he got weaker every movie, for a reason. In the first movie, he has all his parts "Factory fresh", perfectly to specification for preventing most kinds of damage. In the next movie he was more sluggish because he took on the parts of more bulky Decepticons to repair himself. And in the third one, he sucks because he's made of a bunch of barely held together junk.

It actually does make some sense, he didn't know fully when the F-22's were going to arrive and how much time his troops? would have. When he drove at him, all of Blackout's fire was pointing towards him, directing fire away from his own men, and the F-22's in the sky.

I have a theory on why Megatron is weaker in the second and third movies than he was in the first.? When Megatron is brought back to life in Revenge of the fallen, the doctor robot says for the other decepticons to kill the "small one", as megatron needed parts. Megatron has always been stronger than Prime. Bay decided to turn everyone's childhood hero (Optimus) into a face-ripping monster. He was perfect in the first one. Megatron is stronger in the first one. The reason why Optimus is stronger in the second and third one is Megatron didn't have any upgrades( 'ze little one'? in ROTF was not an upgrade.) he was rusting and dying in DOTM from his injuries.

megatron appears stronger because he has the ability to use any and all tactics to? win, he does not care of the damage done, nor about any harmed in the process of winning. prime appears weaker because he has to abide by guidelines.. optimus is a PRIME after all, and according to the story, primes are leaders by nature. but these are just hollywood movies, the comics go much more in detail. been a huge fan since a kid!

Soundwave snitches simply out of loyalty,? Soundwave would never question an order given by Megatron nor would he challenge him, where as Starscream always does and thinks hes tough by standing up to him but when it comes down to it Starscream is a coward when Megatron retaliates, as he knows Megatron could blast his head off if he wanted to but I think Megatron actually likes the fact Starscream challenges him where as no one else has the balls too

Iv seen? many Transformers shows, not all the eps but still. I dont see the huge deal about G1. Its a great show, the voices are solid and I personally enjoy the movie, but it was not the amazing show people on youtube made me think it was. Megatron was evil, but he was also so bland. My first Megatron was BW, now THAT was an evil guy with personality. That trend flowed nicely into Armada. This Megatron and Primes are great. Bay's Megatron...well I liked him in the first one.

i think he could fix his face, HOWEVER without the allspark he couldnt fix his half blown off brain. Remember in TF3 you see "the dr." bots keeping his brain going, if he repaired his face shell he couldnt have the dr. bots keeping his brain going...and as a bot who is clearly "not all there" even with the medic bots i dont? think that would have been a good idea.

Wouldn't it be cool if in Fall of Cybertron they had Countdown to Extinction like in WFC but instead the game went in rounds-- like say after a team planted the bomb a new round would start. The reason why is because when the bomb explodes, you must evacuate out of the base before the ticking? doom blows off. Outside the base you can see it crumble down to bits, the explosions and all! After those special effects, a new round begins and once again the mission is the same!

I believe that if the head would be bigger with this form it would be impossible to transform! Unless like all the decitions made by Hasbro-Tommy they don't respect scale, this sucks big time, if I worked for these companies I would respect that! So that means, for example, Deluxe class toys have to be roughly the same size regardless of how large or small the characters should be in the source material. Generally, the smaller the? size class, the more numerous the toys will be. So that's why Scout and Deluxe class TF toys are numerous while Voyager and Leader TF toys are fewer.

I think I understand what you are saying. Please correct me if I am wrong. For DotM? Megatron to be in the correct scale in relation to Voyager Ironhide, Megatron would have to be at least a Leader-class, maybe even a Supreme-class figure. But due to cost containment and affordability for its customers, Hasbro would never do that. Hence, there are size restrictions that Hasbro imposes on the various classes of Transformers figures. Is that correct?

It looks like I won't be able to shoot a video today so...what I meant is size class for TF toys apply restrictions for how large a toy can be in that size class, ie Deluxe class toys have to be between 5" and 6" long in vehicle modes. So if Voyager Megatron is an oil tanker truck in alt mode, it will look small compared to Voyager Ironhide in alt mode because both toys have to stay within the same length/width/height restrictions for Voyager class. For appropriate scaling, Leader Class...?

well, I saw the movie in the theatre back when it was released so I was still pretty young, and as much I loved seeing the 'Cons kicking ass for once, it was the first time any bots were actually killed. Ironhide's death was off screen and that? just made it worse. He got his head blown off man! Although it did prompt one of Megatron's most memorable lines...so, guess it balances out.

i'm gonna shock a few of you but seriously, megatron toy is a work in progress for 25 years now. He's always been ugly (exect mp but common, this is not a toy) I've got megatron g1 back in the day and the green tank 2 years ago and this one too and sorry to say that , but he's fuckin ugly. It's the kind of figure that I get because I like the character, not the? toy. He's my favorite G1 character but as a toy, he looks like an ass... I got it for what he represents... that's why he's single.

Well, I've transformed him back and forth three times since I got him yesterday, (without breaking anything so far), and? have finally figured out the trick to make his arms align perfectly when transforming him from robot to gun mode. thats more then I ever moved my MP Megatron. Awesome video. To the people asking it's not so much that he'll fall apart right away on you, it's a matter of taking your time & care. There's a lot of pieces that needed to be molded thin & you can't rush or force those parts. It's a collectable not a smack around figure, & while it would be nice if he had? the same quality as Prime(you can drive railroad spikes with that thing) it's still a great piece in any collection.
