I saw a touring company perform Cats in Birmingham, AL in 1988 or so. I didn't really care for the show that much for most of it; Eliot's poems just didn't make particularly good songs. BUT then there's this song - WOW!! What an absolutely wonderful? song!! And Elaine Paige nails it. Just terrific!

yeah, I am all about exploring ways to enhance this. Traditionally in my life I have been horrible? at taking tests, studying and reading but after 6+ years of night classes and proper nutrition I feel I have made some recognizable improvements in my congnitive ability to read faster, retain more and perform better on tests. just my experience anyway.

I can't agree with AtLastOnTheGround. This song is about solitude, about someone who's not accepted by rest cats. And for me - Betty perfect PLAY Grizabella, but Elaine IS Grizabella. @MadamPiki Grizabella was trying to make it through anthor day of being bullied and old and was gonna give up and die, (notice? how she sang about depressing things to) then Jemima sang about happy stuff and showed Griz that not everyone hated her and wanted her to die and that gave her the strength to go on.
