These videos are made by the guard to ease recruits into the idea of being in the army. They didn't allow cameras anywhere near where we were training, and I have? yet to find a basic training video that was anything like what we went through. I really wish the "we're better cause we're Marines/Army" crap would stop. I'd fight and die next to any Marine, just like I'd expect them to do for me.

With all due respect, you don't know what you're talking about. National guard goes to the same TRADOC post, trains in the same company, with the same drill sergeants, on the same equipment and learns the exact same thing. My OSUT company had ARNG, active, and reserves. We do the same thing, I'm not sure where you went to basic at? but yea.
