I had a great family holiday in NY 2yrs ago! Sadly, it was marred on the last day by my beautiful wife & 14YO daughter being hog-tied, gagged & held hostage by our guide, Mr Scilliantino. He taunted me for several hours about how "this lovely fresh meat will fetch a good price at market", gently stroking their faces &? hair as they wept in terror. They were both sold into slavery & I haven't seen or heard from them since. A degrading, horrible end to two wonderful lives :(

Keep in mind though that New York is a very very very small part of the U.S. every part of America has different People with different cultures. We are the Fourth largest nation on earth and only about 8% of are land is acutely lived on. Mobb Deep turned to shit, making shitty songs? with 50 cent, but The Infamous is still in my top 3 hip hop albums. As a native and life-long New Yorker I found this presentation to be quite good. One thing that is not addressed is that New York City is a difficult place to GO TO THE BATHROOM. Many years? ago, there was a book called "Where To Go" and unfortunately, I can't locate it but travelers here should keep such a salient point in mind, that and to really see stuff here you have to be in good physical condition to WALK A LOT.

Correct me if I'm wrong but as I? know Scott Heron didn't collaborate with Jamie xx. The latter only made his own version of the whole record. I don't think there were any contact between them. I got this from wikipedia, so it's not sure. My first feeling about this album was similar to yours but when I read about this it made more sense not assuming the collaboration.
