So how did Martin Luther and all the early reformers who were presented with excommunication and, potentially, the inquisition, benefit from taking a stand to fight against false doctrine and demanding a separation of church and state? That is absurd. These are private hospitals and other facilities. No one forces people to work at thes eplaces and they have a right to govern themselves as the Supreme court recently upheld 9-0.
