No one ever reads it, but when the reality hits that you don't own the actual content, everyone riots even though it's in the fine print. Street Fighter x Tekken is a prime example of this where people think they have the right to hack the game and play the On Disc DLC ahead of time...even though the EULA states that it's illegal to hack the game and you only bought the license.

Game has been playing a risky game for years and tbh it serves them right. I feel bad for the employees for getting the shaft but? the company's values were awful. I never felt like an appreciated customer while at Game Centre I do. Heck I can talk to the staff about there thoughts on games and what game they are demoing that day for people to try. Game I am lucky if I get that. Now companies are at fault yes but they were forced into online passes when pre-owned took priority in stores

The before release date is not meant but it is a perk. Game on the other hand you were just a number paying for the game at full price and then most likely buying pre-owned games too. Small independent stockists in the uk are doing rather well cause they care for the customer base, I personally use Game Centre which is a far smaller Game/Game Stop style store, but Game also never seen shops like Amazon or Zavvi or Shopto.net as viable rivals. They kept the high prices while online stores undercut them usually by £5 to £10 and generally offer cheap shipping and in some cases getting games before? release date

Sorry dude but Game has a shady history. The "Trade-In" system at Game was terrible in the fact you got paid very little and they will happily resell for usually £10 less than new netting them easily £10 to £15 profit. I know cause I went to trade in MW3 and they offered £17ish while they were reselling for £30 so yeah. Developers have been forced into these passes in order to make money since the only time they? ever make money is on a new title. Pre-owned they get nought.
