Yea, I can explain it very easy. The poor don't pay federal income taxes. In fact, the bottom 48% of wage earners don't pay federal income taxes. They either get? it refunded to them, or even get back MORE than they paid in. We have a progressive tax structure, so they more you earn, the higher percentage of your income goes to taxes. In other words, the higher income earners are already paying their fair share, and several other people's fair share.
