I don't know how you can make judgements on behalf of the rest of the world. But from my experience most people love obama. He's? forward thinking. He didn't start two controversial wars. He's all about freedom of speech and equal rights. The U.S economy is just about the only one in the developed western world that isn't in recession. The economy is growing. That was his main goal, and he's achieved it despite chaos here in europe. I can't speak for his policy in the US, but we love him.

It is truly amazing the Equal Protection Clause was enacted into law in 1868 and gay people still can not get legally married. The 1st and 14th amendement protect us! They need to use a rational basis test similar to the one they did in Lawrence v Texas. If they do, they will realize that if we can not marry the one we love then heterosexual couples should be forbidden to do so as well. Then, it would be a no-brainer to allow same-sex marriage due? to the unconstitutionality of the ban.
