The iPad does more and costs less to make and buy than computing devices just a few years ago, and very much so with those a couple decades back. If we channel our resources into really utilizing the collabrative? devices and technologies such as that, we can accomplish a great many more things, and produce less waste in the process. We kind of agree. A more efficient use of resources is certainly of extreme importance in the coming years. However, the scale of? the ecological overshoot to come requires not only gains in efficiency but also rapid changes in "Western" lifestyle (in addition to world population stabilization efforts). What people living in the developed world can and should do NOW is take responsibility, strive for a less materialistic existence, and find ways to overcome their addiction to economic growth.

We needed 1.5 earths in 2010. World economy is forecasted to quadruple between 2010 and 2050. Keeping technology constant, this means that 6 earths will be needed by 2050. The problem is the way in which those resources are managed and how we utilise our technology. We live in a world where more people die from obesity than malnutrition. You are right and a rethinking of our? mindset would enable us to solve most if not all problems, but this is the application of realism on our situation on a global scale. A lot of TED videos focus on some abstract ideas with perhaps relatively little connection to a real, physical solution. Just a minor nitpick: Total order forbids keys to be equal, i.e. both the question answered? near the beginning and the insertion of a second "2" would be illegal. OTOH, it might be relevant to be able to do just that (i.e. require only a total preorder), but I don't know whether the algorithms still work with the weakened assumptions.

Well, here is the thing, i've read a couple of articles as well as a book that talk about this issue of priority queue and heap, and i got like an 80% out of the concept but still needed to overcome the weaknesses that i had on this topic. Now, when i watch this video clip i actually got the whole idea of such topic. Great explanations on step by step with clarifying any subtopic by giving great related kind of? examples to accomplish the idea of in depth. Thankful for uploading such clip.

@shadowmaster799, I am not completely sure what you are asking. If you mean that you would like a shallow depth of field (so that your subject is sharp and your background is blurry), then you could use Aperture Priority and open the completely (small f number). Using a high focal length ("zoom") will also decrease the depth of field. something like "portrait? mode" might be an easy way to simulate this.

Thanks for the feedback. I have only played with the 60D for about 15min at Photokina and liked? it - the familiar EOS feel with a few extra features. The swing screen could certainly come in handy. I would almost certainly take the 60D over a T2i, but then again, the latter comes in a Jackie Chan edition!

these new aged dweebs like the modern FF's because they don't know any better. back in the day, final fantasy games used to be groundbreaking and monumental. now i cringe whenever i hear of a new one because i know? I'll just be let down again. ever since 10, FF games have been on a sturdy slope that ends in a pile of shit. FF1,2,3,7,8 and 9 were what those games were all about. yes remake them and i will buy them.. make new ones and i will download them because they're worth spit anyways. :)

It has nothing to do with fans cant leave the past, its the people whom understanding the greatness of games.For which characters are better that is really depending on the person.For battle system its hard to compare because when 7 came out that was the revolution of FF then again battle system should be better for 13 because of the years different.For storyline, do u know that when Aerith of FFVII dies that moment? was so huge that nothing can top it?.

I can't believe there are FFVII haters out there! ? But let's get real folks, FFVII has a much larger fanbase than XIII does and is honestly a better game. It's so addicting and I love going back to play it again and again. XIII was enjoyable, it just wasn't the same y'know

final fantasy 7 had pretty bad charecters and a shallow plot the only reason it was popular was due to RPGs being so rare in those days but when you play now its not all that great. in the past it was good but now it cant keep up with 13 1:charecters are better? in 13 2: battle system is better in 13 3: story is no doubt better in 13 what does 7 have over 13 besides fans who cant leave the past

One reason I can think of that they wouldn't want to remake 7, 8, or 10 and it's one that we the fans of those games could probably agree with them on and that's the fact that if they did that they'd? have to take out the turn based combat that many of us (not all) liked so well in those games and there by inflict our nostalgia with Blind status. So rather than remake I say give us the exact same game(s) but with a Pimped out graphics engine and I for one would be happy.
