Another great container is the giant popcorn tins? at Channukah time. After you eat the popcorn you have a big giant bucket for flour so you dont have to worry about the bags getting ripped.

My mom/family has done this all my life. I always open the margerine or yogurt containers only to find? whatever left over Indian or dish my mom had made in there instead. Great tip though for those who never thought to reuse containers. Reusing spice containers with the shaker tops is a lifesaver, especially when you buy spices in bulk/in bags. .
