Pure socialism doesn't work (The defunct USSR) is a good example.. Neither does pure capitalism, which is pretty much what we have here now. I think a combination of the two would work, and that's what Obama is proposing. So you're not in debt? That must mean you paid down cash for your home, your transportation, and you or your kids' education. Just curious, though, do you personally know anybody who's getting money from government programs? You seem to know so much about it.?

Brain surgery costs more, plus you'll have to travel, since brain surgeons are only to be found in the top? hospitals in the country.

Human beings, regardless of the good health they enjoyed in their prime, start having major health issures just about the time they reach their 40's (average about 45). I'll bet you and your friends and relatives sit around and compare ailments, like we do. I'm 58. When I was 22 and supporting? myself, you were 6. That cyst is probably why you're so angry all the time. Check out what the copay is on that surgery. If it's less than $6,000 I'll be surprised.

So what is boils down to is we agree what the root of the problem is, and differ on the solution. My contention is a market based product is better because the people are the best regulators. And given the fed gov'ts track record on anything being so inefficient on all levels, I would sooner take my chances in a free? market with a few crooks, than a "fascist" economy where the crooks can help make the rules. I believe your intentions are for the best, but DC is not the answer.
