the Swedish girl worth to win, Greece was horrible, she look like a slut (whole europe saw her swarovski underwear), Cyprus had a nice song but I think I heard it before and her? voice was like she had a cold mixed with a donkeyish voice, Danish was underrated, even though was really good, the Albanian girl too much, over the top unnecessary passion, she bleed our ears. The Russian was amazing, I loved them! everyone else was ok. One guy I like his voice but boring song.

Yes I still think, it's because? of the weather. I just don't like the fact, that people is so closed, and it's not because of the reservedness, you don't have to be friend of everyone you meet on the street, but I guess that slowwws down the process of assimilation for many immigrants over there. I know, but there is a misunderstanding going on here. I was criticizing a comment in which the author was praising? Sweden's music industry on the basis of the songs they sent to ESC. I am a fan of various Swede bands and performers. It was not about that. I just said that if ESC songs represents a country's music culture, then for every country, including Sweden, it sucks. It was a sarcastic comment. My two cents.

I was not misjudging Swedish music. I wrote that as a reply to a comment, in which the author was praising Swedish music on the basis of the songs sent to ESC. I listen to Swedish music, and I am a fan of couple of bands from there. My criticism was not towards Sweden and the music industry there, it was solely based on people's perception towards ESC and deriving the quality of the country's? music industry from that. Cuz, then if we do that, it implies that the music culture in England sucks!!

Actually the "maintenance guy" was my husband who had to leave the doors open to put weather? stripping in- he was half in/half out the whole day. And what of my dog, he goes out the dog door when he wishes- which shoes shall he remove? He is the bigger culprit in our household. And...I live in a very hot American state - we never see mud or snow. I just can't accept it as laziness, it's simply custom. In fact, I'd feel WEIRD to expect my guest to remove their shoes. Especially with kids it is important that they dont drag all the shit inside, it's beyond me that you let your kids that have been playing outside run inside with their dirty shoes. Moreover, kids learn at an early age to take their shoes off, just like the other clothes. it not a problem at all. maintenance guys etc often dont take their shoes off, but come by very seldom.

It's not laziness - it's just not custom. I do feel it's a good idea, but I also think how it could simply be inconvenient. Children playing outside, run in for a drink & have to take off their shoes for 2 seconds? Owners are doing outdoor maintenance that they must go to & from the garage...& take off their shoes each time? I agree? removing them is beneficial but unless you live in an apartment - inconvenient.

Thank you for you good words. I will give one more example. Cyprus would come to Eurovision because they didn't have money to send their singer to Eurovision. They needed 140.000 euroes and they were waiting for permission to get the money. Oh yes, slow motiong is forbidden. In 2007? or 2009 when the Cyprus singer(Euridiki) who was singing the comme ci comme ça asked for permission to use slow motion and they said No, it's against the rules.
