I'll give you a few reasons: The screenplay is awful, built on a flimsy narrative? structure and features some of the worst dialogue ever spoken on screen. The human characters are too numerous, badly-developped, badly-acted, wooden and unnecessary, serving primarily as annoying and inappropriate comic relief. The Transformers appear in about a fourth of their own movie, and even then mainly as background noise so that Michael Bay can continue indulging in his juvenile fetishism for the military.

There arent any plot-devices or immaturity. They are heat shells and those DID work on cybertronians and that was stated in the first movie and even they are made of metal. And they had explosives and tactics made for fighting decepticons. Shockwaves superior armour made the shots rebound and the only thing that did damage him were the explosives. And its not a sponsored car, Bay said it himself in an behind the scenes interview GM only help designed the car for the movie, Bay's movie budget paid for majority portion of the cars cost. I prefer this? over Banzaitron version, because even though Banzaitron have better looking colors, but when I see this Bludgeon, immediately I can tell he's Japan-ish robot, especially the colors, it really brings out the Samurai feel Banzaitron's color is just cool looking, but I can't tell if he's a Japan-ish robot

got Banzaitron today... agree with the legs it's a pity. But I love it anyway, neat transformation, nice colors and details, and it was really cheap for a voyager (13? = 18$) At the shop there's also Payload, The fallen, Optimus Prime and that weird green and grey plane (don't remember the? name). At that price i'm hesitating and would like to buy Payload. Is it worth it ?

Does he work as a classics/universe etc. Bludgeon or is the mold too moviestyled? The? G1 paintjob looks more classic than movie, especially in robotmode, but the head looks not very classic as much as I can see it. This might have been a better character for the universe line as it was planned in the first, but if he works, I would get him for my classics collection, because I really like the idea and you can't have eough decepticon tanks. :)

Heres why ROTF beats DOTM. ROTF had just the right mix of Transformer and Human drama screen time. Even during most Human drama scenes the robots were involved in some way. In DOTM they are strictly segregated from each other until the first hour. ROTF action in almost? every scene. DOTM after Chernobyl its an hour before the action picks up. Can someone tell me why ROTF gets all this crap I loved it.
