Unlawful arrest is an extremely difficult thing to prove. The officer pretty much has to be attacking you without any provocation whatsoever. I also fail to see how the pepper spray in this? incident qualifies as unlawful. The protesters were also in violation of the law. Keith himself said so. Officers are legally granted one level of force above the suspects. So do you want them to uphold the law or not? Do you want cops to pick and choose which laws they like?

It does not matter if an officer searches your vehicle without a warrant, confiscates your wallet, or arrests you outright. You are legally required to comply. Restitution is gained in your trial, wherein any evidence found without cause is thrown out. You then file legal punitive charges against the offending officer through your local ACLU.
