What boosted my confidence were those freelance projects which were almost impossible to accomplish due to my lack of expertise on subject. Because of my perseverance and initiative to learn, I was able to acquire new IT skills by investing in books and learning through Youtube for long? hours. Some people in the house didn't have a clue on what I was doing. This gave me new doors to practice my newly discovered skill/tools in the real world. Instead of letting people just sit on their asses while they collect unemployment checks we should make it mandatory that they attend an education program while collecting checks. The reason it's 40% is that a lot of people without a job who are considered not unemployed actually are unemployed. E. g. a high percentage of full time students will be unemployed after they graduate and therefore should be considered unemployed while they're attending college. People over? 50, young mothers, etc. seemingly choose not to work but most of them would be happy to work if they could easily find a job.

Unions have been sucking businesses and the public dry since the day they were founded. Employees accept a job for $8 an hour, and 2 weeks later go? on strike demanding $12 an hour. Because the company cant afford to keep lines shut down they're forced to pay the higher salary. 2 weeks later it happens again, and again, until the company no longer can sustain the employees. When they go bankrupt they tell the employees that they have to take a pay cut or be laid off. The employees choose no cuts.
