to everyone bashing this for not being? affordable, shut up, it's expensive but in his situation it's a more affordable rig, and he probably acquired this gear of a long period of time. I had a flip camera 6 months ago, now i have a t3i, a rig, and a zoom h4n. all bought with my own money, so chill out, get a job and soon enough you'll have your gear.

Animations can be intimidating at first but you might want to check out creativecow? . net as a great resource for motion graphics and basic animation. You will need specific software to achieve different goals. Some recommended ones are Adobe After Effects and Apples Motion. Hope that helps.

Gideon... one of the methods you mentioned was to outsource to another country and the downside that you listed? was that it was hard to transfer the large video file sizes however it is been my experience that with products like drop box and send it that this challenge has been overcome. Let me know your thoughts

Hey Gideon, I like how you mentioned about outsourcing at the end in comparison to hiring a local student to edit your videos. I think if you pay a little more for monthly bandwidth with a full time video editor in the Philippines you are still ahead. E.g say you pay $300 per month for a video editor + $50 for Internet, it would still be only $350 per month. A student for at least part time per month would be around $1,000. Outsourcing is still the way to? go in my opinion.

I been a GS subscriber for a good year or so now. I recall GS made a vid before on how to make the nice white back drop. As for software, GS uses Screenflow. He made a vid of this a long time ago. Good luck :)?

Funny video.. and although i understand where ur going with this, a jump cut can be a style aswell.. Most people will indeed not understand the meaning of zhe jumpcut, to them it feels like ur? manipulating in the montage, but to me, the first cut in a movie is already manipulating the film. That's what montage is about. A nice example, No Direction Home, an Bob Dylan documentary made by the man Martin Scorsese himself.. He jump cuts like shit cuz.. why tell the boring stuff aswell?!

Well... You might wanna suggest him to pass by tiffen website to check prices there and for him to find out what he might need for his gear. People are doing great stuff with the? $4000 Steadicam Pilot... A basic pilot kit with vl mount, two batteries and steadistand and a useable monitor (the stock one is not bright enough...) can be had for $5950 from BHvideophoto.

thnx very good explanation,..like you said you need strong back and makes sweat thats right..i bought last month comfort kit flycam 5000.... i had back problems since 15 years i didn't think it give me backache i just used for test in ten minutes start my back pains and i sweat a lots i guess i'll work without? tired now i tired in ten minute..i will sell it for me it didn't work.
