It isn't that it is "unbelievable", its just when you consider A). It doesn't sound like he's saying "Thor", and B). It doesn't really make sense in the lyrics? as much as "Gore" would, it is only logical to conclude that he is probably _not_ saying Thor. He talks about the farmlands being "soft and green" but then goes on to say that the fields could "whisper tales of gore". This makes perfect sense -- those fields were once very bloody battlegrounds last time the vikings visited.

Just bought the song on iTunes because I've always wanted this song anyways, and I'm using $150 Razer Headphones cranked up pretty good and I can conclude that there is either no "th" sound, or, the lead singer really should pronounce words more clearly. I could maybe accept an argument that he says "Yore" instead of "Gore", but "Thor"? I doubt it. That, and Gore actually makes sense in the lyrics, Thor and Yore less so.

My Father is Swedish and German My mother is Swedish and German as well My last name is Thorson and I? guess you could say I'm about 50% Sweedish/Nordic. I think it is very cool that my name means "Son of Thor" HEIL MY FATHER THOR! :)
