Actually, if you pay attention, there was no bubble dome mentioned. What they mean when they say "a completely? enclosed, climate controlled environment, protected from rain, heat,? cold & humidity", is the shopping and entertainment area that surrounds the hotel. ECPOT is clearly not what it was first planned to be, but that's ok. Like? Walt said things will change in that room. EPCOT today is Disney's hardest project. Lots of the attractions need updating. The Universe of Energy needs a new film to suit new energy technology of today. Test Track is in the process of an update. Lots of the films shown in the countries need an update. I've always lamented the fact that Disney's vision for EPCOT was never realized. As a kid, it had inspired me, and I'd hoped to get the chance to? live & work there one day. Not to be overly cynical, but I now have to wonder whether the whole "EPCOT vision" thing might not have just been a device to extract needed concessions from the State of Florida -- mostly, I gather, in the form allowing Disney Corp to run Disney World with relative autonomy, which they did eventually get.

well I dont see any problems with the movies. Disney channel started being targeted to families but somehow became a channel targeted to 12 year old girls. Good luck Charlie & Phineas and Ferb are sort of bringing it back to how it should and was meant to be. Disney is also still by far the largest entertainment company in? the world so they may be going downhill a little bit but I wouldn't worry about it.

To me Walt Disney was a great man who could only interpret himself, I like this video because he is the one who is talking. In other documentaries, it would be titled "the mystery behind Walt" and yet he wasn't a mystery to himself. Filming itself is a mystery, that's where they get it wrong. I never liked how they would talk on his behalf, saying "I think the reason he did? this..." it's stupid.. you can't know, that's whats so great about Walt though.

When I get my new tablet (lost the other one so saving for better) I plan on making animations inspired by the techniques shown in this video and others that were used to make the old fashioned cartoons that almost everyone here loves. Ah yes, the Multiplane Camera. It's actually the inspiration for something I do in CGI, it's basically? a cross between bluescreen and that. (Saves rendering times as I only need to render one character at a time and then put flat squares with moving texturemaps and transparancy maps together)

These films really showcase the beauty of hand drawn animation. Everything is done on computers now and it looks good, but, I actually prefer the hand drawn over computer. Its not like houses have to be rebuilt every few years. Especially if they are done right. And that area of Florida isn't very marshy at all. Plus, the Magic Kingdom was built over a swampy pond area. They just drained the pond, built the tunnels, dredged the marsh and put it on top of the tunnels, then built the? Kingdom. He was making lots of? money with movies and disneyland the land he bought was so big that what he paid was REALLY cheap and everyone wanted to support on this project then but when he died the people that were then the disney chiefs said they didnt want to take care of a city so they bailed but money was never a problem for disney and he had many time suffered with little money and always came successful in a way after and he would never lose his imagination.

When I was a 7yr old they read this story at school chicken licken. And it scared the hell out of me, I couldn't sleep. When you think about it, it is a sick story. A group of animals who are lured to their? death, one by one by a sociopathic fox, who kills them and eats them. A lot of children stories are unsuitable for children, when you think about it. No wonder some of them turn out to be psychos when they are brought up on stories like these, it could give you bad ideas.

@BeBop2012 This and another mickey mouse short came before Steamboat Willie, but audiences were not impressed? with them as they felt that mickey resembled another cartoon mouse named Qswald and felt that mickey was just a mere copy of Oswald. Also Walt Disney could not find a distributer. It was not until Steamboat willie that audiences began to like Mickey and Walt Disney found a distributor for the cartoon that he started to become popular.
