Don't worry. He's just conceited because? he thinks he's magically smarter than anyone who believes there's any sort of deity. You hear this sort of thing all the time from some atheists. Part Three! He? does have some pretty overtly political songs, & missing from his music are a lot of the tired cliches that seem to be required in mainstream country lyrics now. Much of his music is really Rock flavored and holds its own on w/ Rock fans. But it's not easy to cross the format line in the media (easier with the public) He'll have to build his audience like most of the best artists do w/o a lot of help from big labels. He can. The musicians on it are amazing, and the arrangement and production is extraordinary.? You hardly notice there is as much instrumentation as there is, but it really tugs at your heart strings, as does Bingham's voice. I suppose it's one of those things you either like or you don't. I'm definitely in the former category. This song got a lot of airplay, but I don't think Ryan Bingham gets the media exposure he deserves. I can only guess why.

From the first song I heard by this guy I thought he was extraordinary. I don't know if he's every going to be a huge media pop star, but mark my words, he's the kind of artist that serious musicians & music lovers will admiring for many decades. Even though his sound may seem pretty specific, his influence will be felt across genres because of songs like this, written with T-Bone Burnett. I've never considered? Thrice a Christian band. It's not their raison d'etre. Of course it comes through in their lyrics because of Kensrue's faith, but there's plenty of artists and groups who are Christian, gay, Welsh, etc., (and demonstrably so from their lyrics) but we don't label them as such.

There was and "NEVER" will be another choir like the "TOMMIES" They were so consistant in the 80's and the early 90's; there tones and voice quaity was second to none. you could always understand what they were saying! Interesting. I always figured it was a role that was rigth up his alley, but I can understand him beign sore after doing that scene. Wilder probably did this better than anyone could ever hope to-including Depp.? His delivery of that line about a "good deed in a weary world" is probably more true now than ever.

Depending on the contract it isn't valid, but in this case it's perfectly valid considering Charlie was? participating in a contest and what he was signing was a waiver stating that if he violated the rules of the contest he forfeits everything. His grandfather can't very well sign that for him, so in this case yes it's perfectly valid.

You're absoulutely right, but I'm inclined to believe that the OP is right as well (I say "inclined" to believe, because apart from bits and pieces I've come across on? the 'net, I haven't read Gene's autobiography- which I'm assuming is what the OP meant by "memoirs"). Doing a stunt like that over and over again probably WOULD make your back hurt, and just because you want to do something doesn't mean that when the time comes to do it, you actually enjoy it (if that makes any sense!).

Actually after reading the script, Gene Wilder said he would make the film under one condition: that he would be allowed to somersault in the scene when he first meets the children.
