As for every empirical example of Leftist regimes, they have always rallied around a single ethnic faction which invariably would be where the ruling elite was drawn. In Russia it was the? Russian pary members. In China it was the Han Chinese. In Vietnam it was the North Vietnamese who would rule exclusively, and well after the conquest of the South. Nazi Germany wasn't a "capitalist" society - it was socialist, in fact more authentically so than Bolshevik Russia. And because of it, up until perhaps 1942 or so (ie, before Speer's reforms), German industrial production suffered for it. One example is that the Soviet Army was far more motorized, and had better trucks, than did the Germans (mainly from US wartime aid and because of an agreement in the 1930s to locate a? Ford Motor plant at Nimzhy-Novgorod). Read "Brute Force" by John Ellis.

Most of the prior rulers were co-opted by the Nazis and replaced with incompetant Nazi sycophants - a move that would be? familiar to people in contemporary Venezuela. In fact, the Nazis were more authentically socialist than the Bolsheviks, and were actually much more popular with German workers than the Bolsheviks were with Russian workers (to say nothing of Ukranians). Another curious fact is that the Bolsheviks killed more "Soviet" people before WW II than the Nazis would during it.
